BOREA R-D
The spirit of the arena Borea was the greatest gladiator from Hispania in all of Rome. His name still survives, engraved on a tessera found in Niebla (Huelva). He was neither a senator nor a general. He was a man who stepped into the arena to win. This bow honors that spirit. When I began designing the Borea, I knew one thing: I wanted a bow I would choose to compete with myself. A bow that wouldn’t force me to choose between speed and smoothness, between power and silence. The reflex-deflex geometry, combined with a high-mass body, was the answer. That mass isn’t dead weight—it’s stability. The glassless carbon does the rest: a fast, clean arrow flight with a smooth and controlled feel in the hand. Each Borea is built by me in my workshop, selecting every piece of wood. Each one is unique, even if they share the same soul.
